Supercomputer Predicts 2026-27 Premier League Table

Supercomputer Predicts 2026-27 Premier League Table
A Supercomputer has predicted the entire 2026-27 Premier League season, with the campaign now just a few weeks away.
Arsenal will go into the new season as champions once again, with the Gunners predicted to retain their title and finish three points clear of Manchester City. Liverpool, Aston Villa, and the rest of the chasing pack will all have European and title aspirations of their own.
Relegation Zone
Coventry City, Ipswich Town, and Hull City have secured their places in the Premier League for 2026-27, but the Supercomputer doesn’t like their chances in the top flight and has predicted all three promoted sides to go straight back down.
Also expected to be dragged into the fight against the drop are Brentford and Sunderland, who the model tips to finish just outside safety.
| Position | Club | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 16. | Sunderland | 38 |
| 17. | Brentford | 35 |
| 18. | Ipswich Town | 32 |
| 19. | Coventry City | 27 |
| 20. | Hull City | 19 |
Bottom Half
Fulham, Nottingham Forest, and Crystal Palace are all tipped to finish in the bottom half of the table, with mid-table consolidation the most likely outcome for each of them.
Completing this section is Newcastle United, who the Supercomputer thinks will endure a difficult campaign after a strong 2025-26, and Leeds United, who are predicted to enjoy a solid first season back among the elite.
| Position | Club | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 11. | Leeds United | 49 |

Top Half
Bournemouth and Everton are both predicted to push into the top half this time round, representing an upturn in fortunes for both clubs.
The Supercomputer also rates Brighton and Tottenham’s chances next season, predicting comfortable top-half finishes for both. Chelsea, now under Xabi Alonso, are tipped to narrowly miss out on Champions League qualification but still finish well clear of the relegation battle.
| Position | Club | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 6. | Chelsea | 63 |
| 7. | Tottenham Hotspur | 60 |
| 8. | Brighton & Hove Albion | 57 |
| 9. | Everton | 54 |
| 10. | Bournemouth | 51 |
Top Four
Manchester United enjoyed a stunning run of form under Michael Carrick in the second half of the 25/26 campaign, and the Supercomputer believes that momentum will carry into 2026-27, tipping them for a fifth-place finish.
Aston Villa are expected to go one better again, securing another Champions League spot in fourth.
According to the Supercomputer, Arsenal and Manchester City will be involved in yet another dramatic title race, with the Gunners edging it by three points. Liverpool, meanwhile, are tipped to finish a clear third but well behind the top two.
| Position | Club | Points |
|---|---|---|
| 1. | Arsenal | 88 |
| 2. | Manchester City | 85 |
| 3. | Liverpool | 74 |
| 4. | Aston Villa | 70 |

The 2026-27 Premier League campaign gets underway on August 21 and ends on May 30, 2027.
