The Spaniard was particularly critical of the officials. “After watching it on TV, I think the VAR referee should call the referee because it’s a tackle, a clear tackle from behind Maatsen, and for me it should be a red card,” Emery said. He accepted Forest deserved the win for their second-half display but insisted the decision changed the complexion of the game.
