Kris Boyd totally ignores Rangers win vs St mirren, and names a player that should be sold immediately

Kris Boyd has refused to let Rangers’ dramatic 1-0 victory over St Mirren hide what he viewed as another worrying performance from Derek McInnes’ side.

Bojan Miovski came off the bench to rescue Rangers in the 91st minute, producing a composed dink over St Mirren goalkeeper Jacob Chapman after Ryan Naderi flicked Ivor Pandur’s long ball into his path. The result extended Rangers’ winning run to four matches and moved them above St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.Yet the scoreline tells only part of the story. Rangers dominated much of the opening period but failed to take their chances, with Chapman producing several important saves.

St Mirren then grew into the contest after the interval, with Fraser Taylor missing the clearest opportunity of the night when he was denied by Pandur.That has fuelled criticism surrounding McInnes’ decisions and the performances of some Rangers players. Boyd has already been one of the manager’s most vocal critics this season, previously questioning Rangers’ recruitment and describing the club’s transfer strategy as unsustainable.

The result also came at a difficult time for Rangers, with Youssef Chermiti ruled out for months and Lawrence Shankland sidelined after a hamstring injury.Miovski ultimately saved McInnes from a frustrating night.

But for Boyd, the late winner does little to disguise the questions surrounding Rangers’ performances and some of the decisions being made at Ibrox.
